State shuts down on-premise alcohol consumption at bars
Effective immediately, Florida is ordering all bars to stop on-site consumption of alcohol as COVID-19 cases rise.
Halsey Beshears, the secretary of the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation announced on Twitter Friday that all on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide has been suspended, effective immediately.
Restaurants remain open at 50 percent capacity and all patrons should observe social distancing for indoor seating.
