City installing signage about LSVs
The Public Works department recently ordered 80 new signs that will be installed on Panama City Beach Parkway connector roads within the City limits. These signs, which will be placed on existing road signage, will serve as a reminder to golf cart drivers and those renting low-speed vehicles (LSVs), that the carts are not allowed on Panama City Beach Parkway, also known as Back Beach Road. The vehicles are not allowed on any City street that has a speed limit higher than 35 miles per hour. This includes Hutchison Boulevard, also known as Middle Beach Road. This is not a new ordinance but rather a notice that signs are being installed to assist motorists.
