City holds kick-off construction event at new fire station

The Panama City Beach Mayor and City Council officially kicked off construction of the City's new fire station Thursday, June 27, with a wall-raising ceremony at the site at 160 N. Nautilus St. with the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Dozens of firefighters attended the event, to celebrate the progress of Fire Station No. 30, started earlier this year and expected to be completed in early 2020.

  • Ultimate wind speed 155 mph
  • Connector road from fire station to Wastewater Treatment Plant, Street Department and Underground Utilities on Gulf Boulevard 
  • Connects to Bay Parkway and Panama City Beach Parkway through Nautilus Street

The general contractor for the project is Reliant South Construction Group. DAG Architects is the architect.
