FEMA reimbursement

The City of Panama City Beach recently received notification of a $333,435 FEMA reimbursement grant for debris removal. The City is requesting the following reimbursement:

Contract Debris Removal (75 percent approved by FEMA/currently with State) -- $444,581

PCB Emergency Protective Measure in first 45 days (currently with FEMA) -- $576,100

PCB Debris pickup and push work in first 45 days (currently with FEMA) -- $670,936

General Ledger stated expenditures (currently being prepared for submission) -- $875,052

Spent to date on Overtime -- $2 million

 

Based on press releases located on the FEMA website at  https://www.fema.gov/news-releases?field_related_fema_regions_tid=49242&items_per_page=10, the following FEMA reimbursement grants have been released to government entities in Bay County:

 TOTAL: $69.6 million

  • Bay County Schools -- $ 2.6 million
  • Bay County -- $18.6 million
  • Panama City -- $14.3 million  
  • Mexico Beach -- $5.6 million
  • Lynn Haven -- $5 million
  • Callaway -- $1.8 million
  • Parker -- $1.4 million
  • Panama City Beach -- $333,435
