Precautionary Boil Water Notice
Due to a water main pipe failure, the City of Panama City Beach water system experienced a temporary loss in pressure in these areas:
- Gulf Highlands Beach Resort, 10997 Hutchison Blvd.
- Bayou on the Beach Café, 11115 Hutchison Blvd.
- Fitness Junky, 11205 Hutchison Blvd.
Customers at these and other locations may experience discolored water for approximately 24 hours after the water service is restored.
As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the water main break has been repaired and the required bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The City will publicly issue a rescission lifting this Precautionary Boil Water Notice at that time. Rescission notices will be posted by the local media regarding the affected addresses and can be found online at www.pcbgov.com.
