SBA disaster assistance still available
The Small Business Administration's (SBA) disaster assistance program continues to operate during the holiday season. As of December 25, Florida loan approvals for Hurricane Michael survivors are up to $514.4 million.
The period for physical damage loan applications has passed, but late filers may submit a letter explaining why they missed the deadline. Meanwhile, the deadline for Economic Injury loan applications is July 11, 2019. Small business owners and non-profit organizations may wish to consider applying for these working capital loans to meet financial obligations that cannot be met as a result of the disaster.
SBA recovery centers in Bay County are located at the Bay County Public Library, 898 W. 11th St., Panama City, and John B. Gore Park, 520 Beulah Ave., Callaway.
