Were getting ready for Hurricane Michael, and we want to encourage you to stay safe and prepare now before the storm hits.
Please be mindful that you should never turn off your gas supply at the main meter. Only emergency or utility workers should turn the valve on or off. Also, as always, please immediately call 877-832-6747 if you smell natural gas (rotten egg odor) or suspect a gas leak at any time. Please check http://www.tecoaccount.com/
yourprofileto ensure that we have your current contact information (the phone number and email associated with your TECO Peoples Gas account). This will make it easier and faster for us to contact you with weather-related updates, if necessary.
Our teams are preparing and standing by for emergency situations. If the storm causes widespread natural gas service outages, please know that all our people will work around the clock to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. For more information, including safety and preparedness tips and a handy checklist, visit http://www.peoplesgas.com/
