The City of Panama City Beach is currently accepting applications for one Maintenance Worker Beach & Pier Part-Time. Applicants must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and have a driving record that is acceptable to the City’s insurance program.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; must follow safety guidelines provided by the City; and must be dependable. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; have graduated from standard high school, vocational school, or have GED equivalency certificate; OR have any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have experience in performing semi-skilled or skilled maintenance work.
APPLICATIONS: Civil Service Office is in the City Hall Annex, Room 214, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8am–4pm with Civil Service usually closing 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. for lunch. If Civil Service is unavailable, applications may be left in the drop box on the Civil Service office door, or at receptionist desk.
