The City of Panama City Beach is currently accepting applications for one Full-Time Street Maintenance Worker Trainee. Please review the full job description included in the application packet for qualification requirements. Specific requirements include: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with some experience in construction, maintenance and repair work; must have some experience in performing heavy manual labor, or have any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license with driving record acceptable to the City insurance program and must have the ability to obtain a Class “C” (with air brakes) Driver’s license within six (6) months.
Applicants will be administered the general competency Civil Service examination.
Applications will be accepted until the position has been filled.

The Civil Service Office closes for lunch from 12PM- 1PM.
