BID OPENING- ALF COLEMAN UTILITIES EXTENSION
This project includes the extension of City-owned sewage 18-inch diameter force main and 12-inch diameter reclaim water mains along Alf Coleman Road south to Hutchinson Blvd (Middle Beach Road). The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project in its entirety as described in the contract documents.
Bids will be opened at 2:00 PM Central Time, February 12, 2019 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Rd, Panama City Beach, Florida and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach Alf Coleman Utilities Extension. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.
All bidders must attend a Mandatory “Pre- Bid Meeting” at 2:00 PM Central Time on the 29th of January, 2019 at the City of Panama City Beach, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.
The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder. The Bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statues, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.
Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.
