NOTICE OF LAND USE CHANGES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following entitled ordinance shall be presented to the City Council of the City of Panama City Beach, Florida, for a public hearing and first reading at its regular meeting to be conducted on THURSDAY, November 8, 2018, at 6:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the George C. Cowgill City Hall Annex located at 104 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, to‑wit,
ORDINANCE NO. 1475
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY’S LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; REPEALING THE AVAILABILITY OF HEIGHT INCENTIVES; REQUIRING THE PROVISION OF LIGHTING, ENTRYWAY, SKYLINE AND BASE ARCHITECTURAL AMENITIES; AMENDING TABLES ESTABLISHING MAXIMUM HEIGHTS TOI REMOVE REFERENCES TO HEIGHTS THAT MAY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH INCENTIVES;AMENDING SECTIONS WITH REFERENCES TO HEIGHT INCENTIVES; PROVIDING THAT MAXIMUM HEIGHT IN THE FBO CANNOT BE MODIFIED; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATELY EFFECTIVE DATE.
If the Council approves the Ordinance at first reading, a second public hearing will be scheduled for December 13, 2018, at 6 P.M. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, if an appeal is available, such person will need a record of the proceeding, and such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
